SCOTT BELT
SCOTT GRADUATED FROM NEW HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL 1971. WHILE AT NEW HAVEN, SCOTT WON 14 VARSITY LETTERS IN FOUR SPORTS. HE WAS NAMED ALL-LEAGUE, ALL-COUNTY AND ALL-STATE IN FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL AND TRACK.
HE ATTENDED C.M.U. ON A FULL ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP WHERE HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE 1974 DIVISION II NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM.
SCOTT RECEIVED HIS B.S. DEGREE FROM U OF D MERCY AND A SPECIALIST IN SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION FROM WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY.
SCOTT WAS MARRIED IN 1971 TO MAUREEN MCGARRY OF NEW HAVEN, THEY HAVE TWO SONS , JUSTIN AGE 24 AND DERK AGE 20.
SCOTT WAS SELF-EMPLOYED AND RAN A SUCCESSFUL WATER WELL DRILLING COMPANY FROM 1975 UNTIL 1990 WHEN HE WAS EMPLOYED AS A TEACHER, COACH AND ATHLETIC DIRECTOR AND PRINCIPAL AT NEW HAVEN. SCOTT AND MAUREEN CURRENTLY LIVE IN BYRON, MI, WHERE SCOTT IS THE HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL FOR BYRON AREA HIGH SCHOOL.
