JOHN MACK JR.
JOHN MACK JR. GRADUATED FROM NEW HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL IN 1996. WHILE AT NEW HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL JOHN PARTICIPATED IN BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL, TRACK AND FIELD, VARSITY CLUB, BPA, NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY, PEER EDUCATION PROGRAM, SADD, AND STUDENT COUNCIL. JOHN WAS ALSO CLASS PRESIDENT HIS JUNIOR AND SENIOR YEARS. JOHN CURRENTLY HOLDS SCHOOL RECORDS IN THE 200 METER DASH, 400 METER DASH, 400 METER RELAY, 800 METER RELAY AND 1600 METER RELAY. JOHN IS LISTED AS ONE OF THE BEST TRACK STARS IN THE HISTORY OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN. JOHN WAS A HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STATE IN TRACK AND FIELD ALL FOUR YEARS.
AFTER GRADUATION JOHN ATTENDED PRINCETON UNIVERSITY WHERE HE ATTAINED HIS DEGREE IN PSYCHOLOGY IN MAY OF 2000. WHILE AT PRINCETON JOHN HELD THE 200 METER INDOOR RECORD AND INDOOR/OUTDOOR 1600 METER RELAY RECORD. HE WAS A 13 TIME IVY LEAGUE CHAMPION, OUTSTANDING PERFORMER AWARD WINNER AT THE IVY LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS. JOHN IS ONE OF 10 MEN TO EARN FIRST TEAM ALL IVY LEAGUE IN TRACK AND FIELD ALL FOUR YEARS. HE WON PRINCETON’S ROPER TROPHY AS OUTSTANDING SENIOR MALE ATHLETE.
JOHN IS CURRENTLY WORKING AS AN ASSOCIATE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR FOR NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY. HE HAS HELD POSITIONS IN THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT AT PRINCETON UNIVERSITY AND ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR THE BIG TEN.
JOHN HAS BEEN INSPIRED BY HIS FAMILY, PARENTS REVEREND JOHN AND BRENDA MACK SR. AND SIBLINGS, RENEE, KRISTAL, JANETTA, JOLANDRA, JELISE, AND JAKELLE.
