GARY MILLER
DR. GARY MILLER IS A 1968 NEW HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE. DR. MILLER HAS BEEN MARRIED TO PAULA FOR THE PAST 32 YEARS. THE MILLER’S HAVE TWO CHILDREN, A SON/DAUGHTER AND A GRANDSON. DR. MILLER ATTENDED SPRING ARBOR COLLEGE FOR HIS UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE AND COMPLETED HIS MASTER IN SCIENCE AND ADMINISTRATION FROM CENTRAL MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY IN 1981. DR. MILLER ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA WHERE HE RECEIVED HIS PHD IN HIGHER EDUCATION. DR. MILLER CURRENTLY RESIDES IN CALIFORNIA WHERE HE IS A PROFESSOR/PROVOST AND SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF BIOLA UNIVERSITY IN LA MIRDA.
WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL DR. MILLER PLAYED A ROLE IN STARTING THE CROSS COUNTRY PROGRAM. IN 1967 HE HELPED THE CROSS COUNTRY TEAM IN ATTAINING THE CLASS C RUNNER-UP STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. IN 1968 DR. MILLER WAS NAMED CO-CAPTAIN OF THE TRACK TEAM WHEREBY THE RUNNING ROCKETS WON THE LEAGUE/REGIONAL TITLES AND FINISHED THIRD IN THE STATE.
